We've just had a wonderful weekend reminiscing about this day one year ago. Thank you to all of our loved ones for the well wishes and congratulations for our first wedding anniversary. We wish we could do that party again with you all here in Island Bay.

Here's a toast to love, family and friends, and to many many more anniversaries on the 15 December.

Thank You

It is our two month anniversary, and Bevan's birthday today (15 February). Happy Birthday darling.

We wanted to post a very heartfelt thank you to everyone who made our wedding such a beautiful day. Including those loved ones who weren't able to attend but sent their wishes via video (Pippa and Bryn our dear UK buddies), via email (Sheryl and Chris the best Swiss friends), via representative (Aunty Nin, that was a great speech on behalf of Nana), or via kind messages in the days leading up to the event.

In the two months since the wedding we had a wonderful break away to the Coromandel (staying in a caravan at Hot Water Beach), Christmas in Rotorua experiencing white water rapids and mud baths, and the challenge of finding a new home to rent after our Newtown house was sold. We haven't moved far though: Hall Street in Newtown. Our contact phone numbers remain the same.

Now that we're officially unpacked and settled into the new place we are sending out all of the thank you cards. Do let us know if you haven't heard from us via snail mail in the next week or so.

One month anniversary - sneak photo peaks

Three Days Out: Weather Update

A brief update from us on the weather situation as we had to make a call with the caterers on our ceremony location. So according to MetService we're looking at:

Morning cloud, then fine. High of 19 degrees. Sunset at 8.50pm

Which is great news, and it means that the ceremony will be in Shorland Park. Please pack a coat/scarf just in case the wind changes. 

Here is the bus timetable for those traveling in from the city. We recommend catching the 2.28pm No.1 bus departing the railway station. This departs Courtenay Place at 2.38pm and should arrive at Shorland Park at 3.05pm.

Three beauty sleeps to go...

Update: Groomsmen

Only four big sleeps to go until the special day. We're motoring through a mega task list this week and our excitement levels are definitely building.

Unfortunately Bevan's brother Bruce Jnr has been caught up with work and family commitments leading up to the wedding and we recently changed the wedding party. We are thrilled to welcome Darren Hoshek to the party.

Darren is one of Bevan's best friends and a fellow Pink Ginners teammate. Darren is also in the midst of planning his own wedding to the lovely Joy (one of Rebecca's mates) on January 5th 2013.

Watch out for that cheeky grin!

Darren specialises in IT, masters in cricket (bowling), and perseveres with Overload training at the gym with the crew. We're so honoured that he'd take on the role of groomsman at such short notice.
