It’s a bit of a luxury and there are cheaper options in town but if you are keen on a treat while staying in town then we think the Museum Hotel is a great option (and the Hippopotamus restaurant serves delicious French-inspired cuisine).

Getting to the venue from the hotel:
Catch the No.1 (Island Bay) bus to the end of the line (Shorland Park). The bus stop (on Courtenay Place) is only 330m walk from the hotel. The No.1 bus leaves every 20 minutes. (Google Map Place link here)
